Peace Thru Music Live!
Peace Thru Music brings professional, semi-professional, and student musicians into the schools’ auditoriums to perform for the students. This is an interactive, educational, and fun experience for all the children. Children have an opportunity to go on-stage with the musicians, and feel for themselves what it’s like to perform as part of a band.
Conflict Resolution with “Pickman”
Pickman comes form Pick Land. He knows first-hand what it’s like to be different. He wants to be accepted just like everyone else. By using his motto“Pick On Strings, Not Living Things”, instruments, storytelling, and songwriting, we teach children about acceptance, tolerance, diversity, and conflict resolution.
Scholarships
Peace Thru Music offers scholarships to children who otherwise would not have access to music lessons. We work with teachers, school administrators, and physiologists (SST) to recognize at-risk students, and align them with appropriate music instructors in the community.
Peace Thru Music Mentors
Peace Thru Music partners with local colleges and schools to recruit music students who are seeking work experience to become Peace Thru Music Mentors. Students receive academic credit and community service hours for an internship and/or practicum with Peace Thru Music. Music Mentors develop their teaching skills while helping us help the children in our schools.

Peace Thru Music Book with CD
Peace Thru Music, the book, is an inspirational collection of short stories from approximately 75 well-known artists who have become a part of our every-day lives. Artists tell how they originally became involved in music, who inspired them, what music has meant to them throughout their lives, and where they think they would be today without it. The contributing artists will cover all genres of music. Packaged with the book is an accompanying CD, which includes tracks recorded by some of the featured musicians. Book sales fund Peace Thru Music programs in the schools and community, and collaborative projects with non-profit partners.
Peace Thru Music Compilation CD
This CD is a compilation of well-known artists performing songs on the many meanings of “peace”.
